Exile

Heys guys sry I have not responded for so long. But I have read your tags and the tagboard and to respond your messages I have prepared the following comments.
I am not so smart to use reverse psychology.

Ok I have been in exile, nothing much has been happening unless you consider the street sign that my father found and I am using it to conduct heat away from my laptop.

Speaking of laptop for you apple enthusiasts a quick note is that people entering FMS has to buy a apple notebook with quite a good package and alot of support.(Informant: Sean)

Man do I miss the last week of the poly term.

Will try to update more regularly guys and thanks for tagging.

Back to Exile.

Today is just another day

SUnburn a little and EXhausted from yesterday Sentosa outing .
I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THIS CHANCE TO APOLOGIZE TO THEA FOR HITTING HER ACCIDENTALLY.

Oh my gosh I was so embarresed but I must face up to my action.

Lovely day yet I am in the house all day.

I am so proud of MR Ang Lee. Brokeback Mountain broke down stereotypes and redfined the meaning of love for me.

But I still like girls. Call me.

View

My father has been talking and some interesting stuff popped up that I feel should be written.

He read in a book that Time may not exist. Then it got me thinking: Well we give a definition of how things age and all that is just things HAPPENING. Randomly things happen and we try to find a pattern within that. It may be essential for us to know this because it may very well be another form of evolution for us.
Imagine if we do accept this new perspective of how time may not actually exist and how various thing are "suppose" to happen e.g people in Singapore have an average lifespan of about 60 years. We may even have the ability to control how fast or slow we want to age.
I do not believe this to be impossible because we can see evidence of things that evolve from totally radical ideas( the earth is round) to small things like how our kidneys are able to remove toxins better compared to people a decade ago due to the resistence we build.

But when you put religion into context it may not fit. From what I know in any religion it is that Superior Being that decides when u should go and not you( People from any religion correct me if I am wrong). But then the Superior Being also gives us a choice which is also known as Free Will so we have OUR choices to make how we percieve things and how you handle such perception.

Also another thing, I recently found that if a government has a tighter hold over country may not be a bad thing so long as it is for the interest of a country.
But it does not mean when a country is prospering that it is a good thing. Comfortability is a weakness that most people have myself TOTALLY included and through conflict there is sometimes progress.
The thing I feel is that certain words are associated to a more negative side which is an important thing to note that we have certain schemata of things that should be overcomed.
And once we know that CONFLICT may not be a bad thing we may help ourselves understand that it actually may help us rethink our values and that the world is ever-changing.
But I do not support OFFICIAL BLOODY DEADLY Wars.

I also find that people take death as a negative thing a little too much. I mean we all know the loved ones who passed on SHOULD be in a better place. And that leaving from this plane of existence to the next should be a happier thing.
I feel that the concentration is too much on LOSING a loved one rather than a loved one MOVING ON.
Again it is about perception.
I am not saying I will feel like this as I still have certain impulses etched into me that I am not certain how I will react to death.
I also hope I have not offended anyone or anything with my views it is just there for viewing and not pinpointing or anything. I respect one and all.

Rotoscoping

I sketching Before Sunset trailer. Rotoscoping almost frame by frame.

I watched Chungking Express and is very odd because I did not feel as bored as I thought. And FAYE WONG was FANTASTIC. I like Hong Kong during that time period with all those enviroment like not too developed but still concrete jungle.

Ok I think that is all for now.

Movies

Some movies I watched that really affected my perception on relationships.
Movies like Before Sunrise and Before Sunset.
Before Sunrise really explored the possibilities of love and more naive thinking.
Before Sunset really does not give you any illusions and grounds you to the fact that the beauty of love between two people transcends beyond marriage.

The odd thing is that people are so worried about dying more than what they do when they are alive.

It is odd how obvious when someone likes someone else it becomes very obvious. How their behaviour becomes more unnatural around the person and they become more energetic, enthusiastic, etc.

I guess it is easier for me to romanticise the idea of being in love than actually being in love. The trouble is that I have seen people in love and it takes certain qualities to do that.

The evolution a relationship is very interesting.
Elements such as:
LUST
ATTRACTION
CARE
ENDURANCE
PAIN
ANNOYANCE
FORGIVENESS
STAGNENT
NUMBNESS
ANGER

Still man I really respect those people in relationship. SALUTE.

This Holiday Season

My room is a mess
I tried to clean abit but then it seems like just rearrange.

This is after cleaning but then its like still messy clean ah clean

It's sad to know that I am may not be grouping together with the same people next semester.
Even if I wanna quarrel should quarrel with people with I know than people I don't know. Actually I want to learn everything both audio and computer graphics. Maybe I could talk to Sean about it.

Computer Graphics is actually damn fun but must play music while working because it will seem damn tiring if don't have.

I need to find a part time job so if any of you got any recommendations tell me.

Goodbye and good luck T1B3.

HAHAHAHHAAHHAAHAHHAAH

Odd, I want to delete my previous post but cannot find a record of it here in my editing post section. Look maannn I really not that violent.......................most of the time. Anyway that person has nothing to be feared of cause I don't feel that way anymore.
Abit of that friendship with that person died through that post from my point of view.
Watched this chinese movie called Nan Xiong Nan Di. Wah I really like the seventies it seems to be a nice time to be living in.
Valentine's Day is coming, that should be interesting though I don't really celebrate but I like to see people celebrate.
WAHAHAHAHA I high on music.

Tired but grateful

I would like to thank a few people: Jowell, Sean and Thea for helping out with me and Kaixiang's PHOTOSTORY project. It made me believe that people will still help others without expecting monetary rewards(AHEM I treat u lunch another time).
Wah but today is tiring with the photo taking for the people coming to the poly open house. Siaow man is like stand there and now my leg is in extreme pain which is BLOODY FISHING SHIOK.
Well lucky the studio was allowed for Kaixiang and I to use or else we would have something that SEEMED exciting but had to be compromised so much it would lose its initial essence. Of course we still have to do alot more shots but the more dramatic ones are more or less done.
Still got lots of things to do but the pressure is kind of FUN.
Still don't know what to do this holiday if anyone got recommendations tell me.
Tired ah. Shiok.

Post-Chinese New Year

Wah today is finally past. It is a tough day to get through man. TRUST ME.
Suppose to watch FEARLESS but was a little too late.

I promised to turn in a sketch last week and here it is.
I am thinking of starting a webcomic and hope this gives you an idea how it is going to be like.

It is just a rough sketch so pardon it's crudeness.
Ok man it is tiring to type.

My very first tablet drawn pic.

YAY! My very first drawing on a tablet and it is BLOODY fun!
Very nice sensitivity and strokes on this mean machine!
Copyright ah. blah blah blah whatever.

Brokeback Mountain seems like a good film and treats the topic of homosexuality with great respect. I mean if the film is off by abit it might seem fake or too vague. HOORAYs for Ang Lee winning the Golden Globe among very strong competition like Munich(Steven Spielberg) and King Kong(Peter Jackson).
The actors did a fantastic job from what I see from the trailer. Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal.

Music on the film is rather good and should check it out on Itunes.

I would also like to tell you guys about Cameron Duncan NewZealand filmmaker who died of osteosarcoma at the age of 17. He has made 2 inspiring short films which can be found on the Lord of the Rings extended dvds. He inspires the song "Into the West" from the ending credits of Return of the King. It affects me alot because I am now at the same age as him then and I am kind of doing the same stuff he is only at a much lower level.
For those who have heard of this from me ta-han abit and for those who have not go check it out at wikipedia by typing his name.
He will not be forgotten.

Another inspiring filmmaker is animator Terence Walker who has made a short animated film called Understanding Chaos. He has made the entire film himself from animation to dialogue and music. You can check out his blog/site at http://www.studioartfx.com/

Life only comes by once(Maybe).

SO long and thanks for all the FISH

The idea just struck me that my grandparents will actually die. I mean I do know but the idea of it becomes more real to me. Especially I see how my grandfather is having the flu and all on the bed with a jacket due to the cold weather now.
I think is like so sad yet empty.

Anyway

I got what I need and nothing more
I am a lucky person....now.
