This was not what I saw.

I was reading the synopsis on New Line DVD Cyberwars( a.k.a Avatar).
This was what it read:
Starring Harvey Keitel and Scott Glenn. Clayton Price (Glenn) an American government hit man gone astray assassinates a U.S. military leader in Mexico and now on the run he makes a pact with a vacationing couple to help him disappear in the Mexican jungle. What this couple doesn't know is Price's secret past and the fact that the U.S. CIA is quick on his trail led by CIA operative Walter McGrane (Keitel). It is McGrane’s instructions to bring back Price at any cost, dead or alive.

But I did not see all this in the original cut.

This was more close to what I saw which was the synopsis at IMDB:
In the near future in the Asian city-state Sintawan, everyone's identity is recorded in the vast CyberLink. The only way around this is using illegal simulated identity implants (sims). A young bounty hunter who makes her living tracking sims, finds herself the unlikely ally of a police detective who suspects the CyberLink is being perverted for an insidious and deadly purpose.

WOw thats a big change.
I mean its possible to change or take out a character of a movie like Fearless and Michelle Yeoh.
But wow this is a pretty big change man.
But its all about the business so, can't complain.

Watching movies.

Hey guys I really have been up to nothing much except talking and watching movies.
Movies are really action type like From Dusk till Dawn and more of Robert Rodriguez movies.

Have seen a recent review on Avatar on a website, Avatar was a Singapore Sci fi movie consisting of an international cast.
I have seen the movie before with a couple of my FSV group mates and it was interesting to see Singapore set futuristically but the attempt was not that great.
Though the movie basing only on the dialogue consisted alot of depth the execution of the project was not good.
I could see that the filmmakers really put alot of their effort into it and I hope they will have a chance to remake it.

Brick is another film I have been keeping my eye on. It was introduced to me by Daniel Tan.
The movie from what I have read and seen is really true NOIR. For me the definition of NOIR is as follows:
Really weird mystery
Sexy women who are decieving
A anti hero who is investigating into this mystery.
A unknown figure who holds all power
A guy who helps the anti hero and occasionally has answers.

This must have been a difficult film to promote because it is set in a high school.
Which most people's formula
High school+mystery=Hardy boys.
But it really isn't
Though it will not be screening in Singapore anytime soon(no release date) enjoy the trailer at apple .com(under Focus Features). Or go to wikipedia because it has a few cool links.

Thats about it so make the best of the time you have.

Between Production and Post Production

Well the Saturday shoot seems to have covered most of the shots I need.
Thanks to Jowell and Kaixiang who was so understanding though they may not have really understood what I was doing.
Post production has not really started as I have to clear out my harddisk before having enough space to load the raw footage.
